After what was a weirdly stressful week where I didn't feel like I was getting what I wanted to done, I was glad that the weekend showed up 😉

On Friday evening, I got some closure with the slowdowns on erasures in the yum depsolver and managed to track it down and get some real speed-ups. The normal case is now starting to look more reasonable time-wise, although I still think there's a way to go. I'm beginning to think that spending the Fedora 8 timeframe just on yum cleanups without any big changes is the best plan. I'm sure someone will have a good idea of something that will require bigger changes, though 🙂

Then, since the weather was nice, I ended up spending a fair bit of time on the bike. Got in about 90 miles all told over the two days which felt pretty good for the end of March/beginning of April. Given the good weather, a lot of other people decided to turn out too. The number of riders on the weekend rides is rapidly increasing with the weather. Which is a good thing as that helps to let groups of various levels better develop and not have to feel that with 10 people, that you should all stick pretty close together. And it's good to see some people that I haven't seen in a few months.

Otherwise, a pretty lazy weekend. This week should be lots of bug fixing and stabilization working towards test4. Then, have a 3 day weekend this weekend during which I hope to get a fair bit more riding in.
