Decided to wander down and see Spartan at the theater downstairs since I had a free pass. I think that I'm better off watching movies in the comfort of my living room…. more comfortable and better sound. Picture is arguably a little better there just due to “bigger”, but mine is perfectly acceptable really. And since it's mostly second-run stuff there only, I'll wait the extra month and just Netflix it.

As for the movie, I was disappointed. It didn't have the characteristic David Mamet wit. Nor the impeccable Rebecca Pigeon with her bizarre facial expressions and dry delivery of lines. It did, though, have two of his children and his half-brother.
