Went to see Master and Commander tonight. It was okay, a little slow in my opinion.

Made good progress the past few days getting anaconda running on top of 2.6. Appear to have something that sort of works now. Lots of things to clean up and start moving over to “better” ways of doing things with 2.6, but the first step was to get things going. I should probably make a list at some point so that I don't lose track.

Next step, though, is to fix some of the screwiness added by selinux patches in various packages. The fact that groupadd is failing now even though I'm running in permissive mode is somewhat worrisome. Oh well… first to see if I can find a better way to determine if selinux is enabled… the current mechanism used by libselinux is completely absurd.
