Hrmm, slow day. Woke up at a a reasonable hour and started pretending to get stuff done. Didn't really, though. Did go by the office and print out some stuff to read through. Also did some more recliner investigaton — I spend way too much time on things like this trying to make sure I do the “right” thing. I blame my mom 😉

Then, came home and read a little bit and puttered around online and took a short nap. Grabbed dinner at Mo Joe's and then came home to finish my book. Not a bad day, although I didn't really accomplish anything. It was nice to just sit back and relax a bit, though. Especially after this week.

Then, considered working on my matrix theory homework and looked at it and noticed it's due a week later than I thought, so I can leave that for doing over the course of the week and next weekend. Need to do some stuff for analysis tomorrow, though, and also need to do some docs review. And I need to do laundry.

  1. I believe in looking reality straight in the eye and denying it.

Man, what a beautiful thing relaxation is…I wish I could experience it…and usually procrastination and relaxation go hand in hand.

“The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not ‘Eureka!’ (I found it!) but ‘That’s funny’…” Isaac Asimov

I hope you have another relaxing Sunday….put off Analysis stuff until this evening and enjoy the wind and sunshine…that is, if it is windy and sunny wherever it is you are in NC. But laundry…well, it’s imperative you get that done immediately. Mmmm…love clean clothes smell…

  2. I don’t know, I don’t find procrastination very relaxing… I tend to spend a lot of time thinking about and obsessing over what needs to be done that I’m putting off. Which was why I started to look at matrix theory at midnight. But I’ve found that relaxing some is necessary. You should take the time to do it, even if you don’t have the time to do so.

As far as today goes, I’ll have to just sort of see I guess. It does appear to be sunny out, not sure about the wind. I might try to go find somewhere outside to sit down and look at analysis.
