Never a dull day, never a dull day.
Symbols being defined multiple times in a non-local context with RTLD_GLOBAL is a pain in the ass. Multiple symbol renames and some static'ing of functions which were local to a file later, libpng in anaconda is happy reading images again. Took entirely too long to figure out what the hell was going on.
Probably a sign that I need a vacation or some time off or something… I guess I have been to work every day since last Monday. But, no time to rest for the wicked. Not yet at least. Tomorrow should be more fun work, though, probably. Unless something else breaks and I have to fix it.
On the positive side, at least msw got pxe fixed today. As mentioned, Red Hat moved into new offices last weekend. And with getting PXE up, I think that's the last thing that really wasn't working still from the move. For the most part, it went pretty flawlessly. A few things here and there, but overall, I was very pleased with the work that was done. And I really have been able to just sit and work some a bit better than I was able to in the more open environment. I have a feeling that we'll move to doing even more via IRC which is something that I can just passively watch while doing other things, keep up with, and yet still not be completely distracted by it. And it's a lot easier for me to go to my classes 🙂
