Another day, another destiny… on this never-ending road to Calvary

Another relatively productive day at work. I need to get back to work on bootloader stuff tomorrow and try to finish that up for though. I've been piddling with other things and breaking gtk2. Drats. That reminds me, I was supposed to try to get a test case for jrb for the really weird bug I was seeing today. Crap, crap, crap. Oh well, guess I'll do that tomorrow sometime as well. . o O (as the work piles up) O o .

As far as classes go, Music Literature seems like it should be a reasonable class. Kramer is still at least as crazy as he was when I took Music Drama. And although the class will actually have some reading, that doesn't look too bad and the listening to various pieces should be kind of fun. Sitting outside waiting for Kramer to show up and open the door this morning, I realized again that in a lot of ways, I miss the music side of myself that doesn't get out much anymore. Too busy with this, that, and the other thing to really engage it… just not the time to take classes, work, and play. Maybe after I graduate and Red Hat moves, I'll be able to get some time away to play again. Oh well, I'll at least have fun in the class I think.

Senior Design is going to, to put it bluntly, suck. Oh well, I expected as much really. Hopefully we'll get the project we want and then it won't be too much work and I can retain my sanity.

Haven't really done much since I got home other than sit on IRC and look a little at anaconda on sparc (which is now failing in all new and exciting ways. *sigh*). Had to figure out Senior Design group and project, which took some time. Back in a routine at least, even if it is a rut-like routine… need a way to escape the rut probably, but I don't see that happening for while. Bedtime now I guess

  1. Go out.. get a girlfriend, get a boyfriend, do something that pulls you out of that rut-like routine. It doesn’t have to take all your time, just do something a little different every once in a while.
